Road Shield

Road Shield is a real-time driving safety app built to help drivers stay aware, legal, and focused on the road. Designed for North Macedonia, it combines speed camera intelligence, speed-limit awareness, and hands-free alerts into one clean mobile experience across iPhone, Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and Apple Watch.

The app monitors nearby fixed cameras during active drive sessions and delivers progressive warnings as you approach them, using visual cues, haptics, and optional voice guidance. Road Shield also adds Speed Limit Drop alerts, warning drivers before entering lower-speed zones where sudden changes often lead to unintentional violations. For longer trips, route planning and camera-aware navigation help users choose safer paths while still integrating with familiar navigation workflows.

A key part of the product is low-distraction driving: Live Activity keeps critical information visible without unlocking the phone, and the Apple Watch companion mirrors core alerts for quick wrist-level awareness. Drivers can personalize alert style and intensity, then start and stop sessions manually or use automation features available in higher tiers.

Road Shield was developed with a privacy-first approach. Location is used only to power real-time safety alerts during drives, and the experience is designed around on-device processing with no ad-tracking behavior. The result is a practical, modern mobility product that blends safety, clarity, and everyday usability for drivers who want confidence on every route.
